  • Deeproot Grove — The dense interior grove of greatest magical potency, surrounding the near-sacred Heart of the Forest. The most zealously guarded region of the Eldris Forest.
  • Misthollow Grove — Southwestern lowland grove shrouded in perpetual mists from underground springs, home to the forest's most reclusive inhabitants and rarest fungal species.
  • The Moonlit Falls — A sacred site in the western Eldris Forest where water cascades over mossy stone into pools of unusual clarity. Amplifies healing magic and serves as sanctuary for Senior Healer Aeliana Mossheart and Moon Priestess Luna Mistwalker.
  • Heartwood Council Hall — The seat of Sylvan governance, grown from the intertwined roots and branches of the oldest trees at Heartwood's center. Hosts the Sylvan Council's deliberations and periodic full Council gatherings.
  • Hall of Memories — Archival heart of Sylvan civilization, preserving bark-scrolls, tapestries, and magically encoded artifacts that constitute the people's historical record. Located in central Heartwood.
  • The High Canopy — The uppermost stratum of the Eldris Forest's canopy, accessible only to Rangers and senior Greenspeakers. Home to the Wind Whisperer Shrine of Elmorin Breezesinger and the Storm Tower of Oaken Stormheart.
  • The Grand Amphitheater — Performance space in Heartwood's Songwood district where Calador Starbow preserves and performs the old songs of the Sylvan Elves each evening.

Figuren (15)

  • Elenia the Greenweaver — The supreme practitioner of Sylvan Magic in recorded history. Legends hold she called entire groves into existence with song alone and healed the Eldris Forest during an ancient catastrophe.
  • Thalion Swiftarrow — The archetypal Sylvan Ranger, whose incomparable archery skill and courage at the forest's borders defined the Ranger tradition for all generations that followed.
  • Caelith Frostbark — Current Warden of the northern borderland grove, maintaining vigilant watch against incursions from the Celestial Mountain passes.
  • Kieran Stormarrow — Elite archer and commander of the Sylvan Rangers, stationed at Heartwood. Intense and suspicious of outsiders following the loss of his entire patrol to a human logging expedition that turned violent.
  • Lyriana Wildheart — Keeper of the Healing Gardens in the Whispering Glade at Silverbrook Grove. Dreams of cataloging every plant in Landorya. Apprenticed under the legendary Elder Mosswhisper for fifty years.
  • Nyssa Shadowleaf — The Sylvan Council's intelligence operative in the world beyond the forest. A master of disguise and persona adoption who has spent her entire adult life in deep cover, at enormous personal cost.
  • Calador Starbow — Lore-Bard of the Grand Amphitheater in Songwood. Has preserved Sylvan oral history for over a century, learning songs dating to the First Age. His deep violet eyes are said to be a gift of the Moonlit Stag.
  • Aeliana Mossheart — The most powerful healer in recorded Sylvan Elf history, serving two centuries at the Moonlit Falls. Maintains strict neutrality, healing all who come regardless of allegiance. Her tears are said to heal wounds.
  • Fenris Oakborn — Practitioner of an unbroken woodcrafting lineage stretching back to the First Planting. Carved the Lorekeeper's throne and believes wood carries memory. Stationed in Heartwood's Carving District.
  • Elmorin Breezesinger — Ancient practitioner (age 423) who serves the Wind Whisperer spirit from the shrine in the High Canopy. His prophecies, delivered in cryptic riddles, frequently germinate into shifts in Sylvan Council policy.
  • Oaken Stormheart — Custodian of the forest's weather from the Storm Tower in the High Canopy. Has managed rainfall distribution and storm mitigation for three centuries. His moods affect local weather conditions.
  • Luna Mistwalker — Prophetic practitioner of the dream-weave arts at the Moonlit Falls Dream Sanctuary. Lives half in the waking world and half in dreams, in sustained communion with the Moonlit Stag spirit.
  • Miraelle Bloomdancer — Current-generation artist celebrated for performances in which her movement itself becomes a Greenspeaking act, coaxing flowers to bloom and vines to spiral in real time.
  • Elowen Thistleweave — Tapestry master whose work in the Hall of Memories is redefining the weaving tradition, incorporating techniques that encode experiential memory into cloth accessible to trained readers.
  • Dusk Shadowhunter — Elite Sylvan Ranger specializing in the deep forest corridors of Deeproot Grove, tracking threats and anomalies in the most magically potent and least-visited regions of the Eldris Forest.

Kreaturen (5)

  • Moonlit Stag — Sacred silver-antlered deer held to be a vessel of the forest's dreaming consciousness. Encounters are treated as prophetic events. The annual procession of a Moonlit Stag through Heartwood during the Festival of Ancestral Spirits is the most sacred moment in the Sylvan ceremonial calendar.
  • Forest Wyrm — Large semi-intelligent serpentine creature of the deep forest, regarded with a complex mixture of respect and wariness. Ranger Captain Kieran Stormarrow wears a quiver made from the skin of a Forest Wyrm he personally slew after it had been corrupted by magical contamination.
  • Dream-Fox — Small luminescent canid found only in the forest's deepest groves. The most common animal companion among young Sylvan Elves, selecting their companions by their own apparent deliberate choice rather than elf selection. Death of a Dream-Fox is marked with private ceremony.
  • Great Oak — The oldest known living tree in the Eldris Forest, considered the embodiment of the forest's collective consciousness. The Lorekeeper maintains a special spiritual relationship with it, and Sylvan lore holds that the pulse of the Great Oak synchronizes with the heartbeats of the most attuned elves.
  • Dryad — Tree-spirits of the deep forest, including figures like Willow who shares rare plant knowledge with Lyriana Wildheart. Encountered by experienced Greenspeakers who know the proper protocols of approach and communication.

Artefakte (8)

  • Greenspeaker-Grown Bows — Enchanted bows grown over decades by master Greenspeakers, retaining their living essence and responding to their archer's intent. Among the most precise and deadly weapons in Landorya. The wood is never cut but coaxed into its perfect shape through song and magical communion.
  • Moonlight-Woven Cloaks — Magical garments that render the wearer nearly invisible against forest shadow. Woven using techniques combining spider-silk and lunar magical energies, produced only by master weavers under moonlit conditions.
  • Bark-Scrolls of the Hall of Memories — Enchanted inscribed bark surfaces that encode not merely text but experiential memory, accessible to trained readers as something closer to relived experience than conventional reading. Constitute the primary historical archive of the Sylvan Elves.
  • Bioluminescent Lanterns — Lighting implements harvested sustainably from luminous forest organisms and shaped by Greenspeaking. Illuminate Sylvan tree-homes with a soft, living glow that flickers in response to nearby emotional states.
  • Companion Trees — Living trees planted at the birth of each Sylvan Elf child, grown in parallel with their partner throughout the elf's lifespan. Healthy when their partner thrives, stressed when their partner is ill. After the elf's death, they stand as living memory in the forest.
  • The Lorekeeper's Staff — The ceremonial instrument of the Lorekeeper's office, grown rather than carved, incorporating wood from each of the four Groves and enchanted to facilitate communion with the ancestral spirits of the Hall of Memories. Passed to each new Lorekeeper at investiture.
  • The Song of Pre-Dawn — A composition preserved by Calador Starbow that predates the Sylvan Elves themselves, believed by some scholars to have been composed by the consciousness that inhabited the Eldris Forest before the people emerged. Its singing is feared to awaken something ancient in the forest's deepest roots.
  • Herbal Crystal-Bark Apparatus — Distillation and preparation equipment constructed from crystal nodes and shaped bark, used by Silverbrook Grove healers to produce medicinal preparations of extraordinary efficacy. Each apparatus is custom-grown for its practitioner's specific methods.

Feste (4)

  • Festival of the First Planting — Spring celebration marking the forest's renewal and the formal community introduction of all companion trees planted for children born in the previous year. New Greenspeaking projects for the coming year are announced and blessed. A re-enactment of the mythological First Planting by which the Great Oak was created.
  • Festival of Ancestral Spirits — Autumn ceremony held on the longest night of autumn when the Eldris Forest's bioluminescence reaches its annual peak. Elders lead communities in communing with the ancestral presences believed to dwell within the forest's oldest trees. The most sacred moment is the annual procession of the Moonlit Stag through Heartwood.
  • Solstice Ceremony — Midsummer gathering at Heartwood's central platform drawing the entire community. The Sylvan Council performs the full Rite of the Listening. Major decisions deferred from earlier months are often finalized in the aftermath. Elmorin Breezesinger's sharing of annual wind-whispered prophecies is the most eagerly awaited moment.
  • Moon Feast — Winter series of vigils across the darkest nights of the year, led by Luna Mistwalker. Extended communal dreamwork and prophetic interpretation, understood as the season when the dream-weave is most accessible to non-specialist practitioners.

Organisationen (6)

  • Sylvan Council — The governing body of the Sylvan Elves, a fluid assembly of the wisest and most magically attuned elves led by the Lorekeeper. Seats are earned through demonstrated wisdom and service. Operates by consensus, with the Rite of the Listening as its primary deliberative mechanism.
  • Sylvan Rangers — Elite military and intelligence force of the Eldris Forest, organized into patrol units and intelligence teams. Commanded by Ranger Captain Kieran Stormarrow. Mandate includes border security, ecological monitoring, and the forest's first line of defense against external threats.
  • Lorekeeper's Circle — The Lorekeeper and their three most senior magical advisors, responsible for monitoring the health of the dream-weave, maintaining the Whispering Wind Network, and reviewing all proposed magical workings that might affect the forest's ecosystem. Meets weekly and produces reports for all Grove Wardens.
  • Grove Court — Judicial tribunal of three elders convening beneath the open canopy to hear grievances and adjudicate disputes within Sylvan law. Oral, precedent-based, and responsible for issuing the gravest sentence in Sylvan justice: Forest-Exile.
  • Order of Greenspeakers — The community of practicing Greenspeakers across all four Groves, bound by a shared ethical code prohibiting damage to living trees without consent and requiring Council approval for ecosystem-altering workings. Maintains the Heartroot Ward and transmits the discipline through Root-Bond mentorship.
  • Lore-Bard Tradition — The intergenerational community of oral historians and performers headed by Calador Starbow, responsible for preserving and transmitting the entire corpus of Sylvan historical memory through song and performance. The most important alternative to text-based knowledge preservation in Sylvan civilization.
