Elven Bow of Elandor
Also known as: Bow of Elandor
Carved from the silver-veined heartwood of a Twilight Ash grown at the heart of the Fey Court of the Eternal Twilight, the Elven Bow of Elandor gleams with a cold, starlit luminescence that never fades, its limbs etched with the flowing glyphs of the Sylvan Elves, each rune a whispered oath to the archer who first drew it. Arrows loosed from this bow arc with impossible grace, guided by an unseen hand through pitch darkness, dense woodland, and the howling gales of war, striking with the precision of a Sphinx's riddle, inevitable and unerring.

Overview
Elven Bow of Elandor is a unique weapon in Landorya. Its known origin is Elandor Dawnwhisper, the most celebrated bowyer of the Sylvan Elves, spent forty years shaping this weapon during the Age of Fracturing, when the borders between the Fey Court of the Eternal Twilight and the mortal realms of Landorya grew dangerously thin. He fused Twilight Ash heartwood with silver sap harvested at the precise moment of a lunar eclipse, calling upon the blessings of the Celestial Order to bind star-guidance into every grain of the wood, a weapon meant to defend the last green sanctuaries of his people against encroaching darkness.. Its most cited abilities include True Sight Shot: Arrows fired ignore all concealment, darkness, and magical illusion, homing toward the intended target with uncanny accuracy., Twilight Piercing: Shots pass through non-living barriers, shadow, mist, or Fey-woven glamours, without losing velocity or trajectory., and Whispering Nock: The bow silences itself and its wielder in a 10-foot radius when drawn, muffling sound as though swallowed by the Eternal Twilight.. Accounts also warn of a drawback: The bow's bond is absolute and jealous: a wielder who swears themselves to Elandor's legacy begins to dream only of the Fey Court of the Eternal Twilight each…
History
For three centuries the bow served Elandor himself as he held the Veilwood Passes against incursions of Drakonian war-bands and the creeping poisons of the Naga warlords of the eastern deltas, his name becoming legend among both the Sylvan Elves and the fearful Desert Scholars who chronicled the battles. Upon Elandor's death at the Siege of Ashenveil, the bow passed to his daughter Serawyn, who carried it into alliance with the Order of the Starlight during the Shattering of the Iron Veil, a conflict that saw the Dwarves of the Iron Mountains and the Sylvan Elves fight side by side for the first and last time. Serawyn fell at the Battle of Mirethon Ford, and the bow was lost beneath the floodwaters of a river said to be haunted by the Naiads, who are rumoured to guard it jealously in the deep currents to this day. Whispers among the Desert Scholars' archivists suggest that the Fey Court of the Eternal Twilight has dispatched an emissary to reclaim it, though whether by negotiation or force remains to be seen.
Powers & Abilities
- ✦ True Sight Shot: Arrows fired ignore all concealment, darkness, and magical illusion, homing toward the intended target with uncanny accuracy.
- ✦ Twilight Piercing: Shots pass through non-living barriers, shadow, mist, or Fey-woven glamours, without losing velocity or trajectory.
- ✦ Whispering Nock: The bow silences itself and its wielder in a 10-foot radius when drawn, muffling sound as though swallowed by the Eternal Twilight.
- ✦ Starbound Volley: Once per night, the archer may loose three arrows simultaneously, each guided by a separate constellation of the Celestial Order, never striking the same point twice.
- ✦ Bond of Elandor: The bow recognises a single sworn wielder; in the hands of any other, its accuracy is merely mortal, but it will always return to its bonded archer by dawn.
Curse or Drawback
The bow's bond is absolute and jealous: a wielder who swears themselves to Elandor's legacy begins to dream only of the Fey Court of the Eternal Twilight each night, growing slowly estranged from mortal ties, hunger, and sleep, over months, the bonded archer risks fading, becoming more Fey than flesh, until they vanish entirely into the Twilight if the bow is not willingly surrendered.
