Starshade Amulet
Also known as: Amulet of Lyria
A pendant of pale white starstone cradled in a lattice of silver-veined aetheric alloy, the Starshade Amulet pulses with a cold, faint luminescence that swells into blinding radiance whenever corruption or dark enchantment draws near. Etched across its face are the Seven Seals of Lyria, sigils sacred to the Order of the Starlight, each one a ward against the shadow-workings that haunt the blighted marches of Landorya.

History
During the Blighted Age, the amulet was borne by High Warden Lyria Ashenveil of the Order of the Starlight, for whom it earned its alias, the Amulet of Lyria, after she single-handedly shattered a Drakonian shadow-siege upon the gates of Eldoria using its Lyrian Aegis. Upon Lyria's death at the Battle of the Ashen Veil, the amulet passed into the custody of the Desert Scholars of the Sunken Archive, who studied its Seven Seals for two centuries before it was stolen by a Fey Court assassin acting on the orders of the Twilight Throne. Its current whereabouts are fiercely debated, the Order of the Starlight maintains that it lies sealed within a warded vault beneath the Iron Mountains, while Sphinx riddle-records from the Sun-Scarred Peaks cryptically suggest it rests upon a living neck still.

Curse or Drawback
The amulet's soul-anchoring power comes at a grave cost: the longer it is worn without removal, the more it erodes the boundary between the wearer's identity and Lyria Ashenveil's lingering spirit, gradually overlaying the wearer's memories and personality with Lyria's own until, after prolonged use, the original self may be wholly subsumed, leaving Lyria reborn in a stolen body.
