Its usual habitat is Stone-Beetles inhabit the deep ore veins of the Ironspine Mountains, clustering densest where copper and iron deposits are richest, and occasionally migrating through the Ironspine Wildlife Corridor into Dwarven-adjacent territories.. For the Gnomes of Landorya, Stone-Beetles are both a practical resource and a sacred symbol of labor, their naturally shed exoskeletons are harvested by miners to produce Titanium… Key abilities include Burrowing through iron ore and rock with hardened mandibles, Exoskeleton that yields lightweight, weavable Titanium-Weave fibers upon natural molting, and Chemosensory detection of rich ore deposits.

Stone-Beetles are heavy, fist-sized insects clad in segmented exoskeletons of dark iron-grey that shimmers with faint metallic iridescence where ore minerals have been absorbed into their shell. Their powerful, chisel-like mandibles are visibly worn smooth from a lifetime of gnawing through iron ore veins, and six stubby but immensely strong legs propel them through rock with surprising speed.

Stone-Beetles are single-minded and industrious, following ore scent with relentless focus and paying little heed to creatures around them unless physically threatened. When disturbed en masse, a swarm will clatter its shells in a thunderous warning rattle before attempting to flee deeper into rock rather than attack.
