Story

ZORIN DEEPHOLLOW

Jeder trug seine Last. Jeder seine Geheimnisse. Jeder seine ungeschriebene Geschichte.

Und ZORIN? ZORIN ging weiter.

Backstory

Zorin was born in the tunnel-farming warrens beneath Kragnir to parents who grew Deeproot Mushrooms in the dark and knew every passage between their plots by stone-feel alone. He inherited that spatial awareness and multiplied it, spending his youth mapping unofficial routes that Tunnel Scouts had overlooked or dismissed. At thirty he guided his first paying group through a collapsed section that had blocked a trade corridor for six months, finding an alternate path that halved the travel time. His reputation spread quietly — he does not advertise — through the network of merchants, smugglers, and refugees who have reason to move through Kragnir without official oversight. He is not political, but his knowledge makes him dangerous to those who profit from controlling passage, which is why at least two guild factions have tried to put him on a permanent retainer, and why he has refused both.
