No record of Destiny Whisper's origins exists in the crystal archives of Eldoria, and the Office of the Chronicler has long since ceased trying to compile one. She appears in moments of great consequence, offering cryptic guidance to those she judges capable of acting on it, then vanishes before questions can be asked. Some scholars believe she is a fragment of the forest's own consciousness, shaped into humanlike form during the ancient covenant between the first Eldorians and the living land. Others hold that she is simply an immortal druid who has walked so long among the roots of time that ordinary chronology no longer applies to her. She is never cruel, only patient in ways that mortals find profoundly unsettling.

Destiny Whisper was present at the original covenant between the first Eldorians and the living land — not as a witness, but as one of its signatories.
