Local Myths & Tales
- The Tale of the Sleeping Giant, a myth explaining the formation of the Granite Spine — a primordial titan lay down to rest and his body petrified, becoming the mountain range itself.
- The Lost Vein of Varrik, a cautionary legend in which a greedy miner ignores the warnings of the Stone Tribunal and tunnels into a forbidden deposit. The earth swallows him whole, and his pickaxe strikes echo through the tunnels to this day as a reminder that the deep demands respect.
- Keldor's First Golem, a beloved children's tale describing how Forge-Master Keldor accidentally animated a lump of clay while humming a work-song, giving birth to the first — and smallest — Crystal-Core Golem, a creature no larger than a cat that still supposedly wanders the Echoing Halls.
