A vast cloak-like mantle woven from compressed veins of living crystal, magma-silk, tidal salt-thread, condensed wind-fibre, and aetheric gossamer, one layer for each of the five elemental kingdoms. It drapes from the shoulders of its wearer like a piece of the earth itself, shifting its surface texture and colour to mirror the dominant element of whatever realm it currently passes through.

History
Passed from High Confluent to High Confluent across the ages, the Mantle has been worn during every great crisis the Confederation has faced, including the sealing of a catastrophic planar rift that threatened to collapse the Deep Earth's layered subterranean network. On one recorded occasion it was taken, under escort, to the surface of Landorya as a gesture of diplomatic gravity during negotiations with a surface kingdom over ley-line rights. It has never left Elemental custody willingly.
