Chrono-Lock of the Grand Assembly

A towering brass-and-crystal mechanism standing nearly a metre tall, its interlocking gear-rings spinning in perfect silence around a pulsing core of Aetherite-Alloy. Engraved with the seal of the Grand Assembly, it radiates a faint amber light that causes nearby clocks to stutter and chime out of sequence.

It now rests in the Ministry of Arcane-Tech's vault, brought out only for existential emergencies ratified by full Assembly vote.
