James Orion Starwind

James is the youngest of the three Starwind children. He is quick, curious, and never sits still for long. With his bow and his tiny fire friend Sparky, he turns every walk into an adventure.

James shows children that being the smallest can still mean being a great friend and a brave helper.

James is small and springy, with messy brown hair that sticks up when the wind plays with it. His eyes are bright blue, and freckles dance across his nose. He wears soft green clothes for quiet steps in the grass.

Brave, chatty, and a little impatient. James says “I’ve got this!” even when he still needs help — but he always tries again.

James grew up in the quiet village of Greenvale with his big brother Robert and his sister Mary. He learned to listen to the wind in the trees and to aim his little wooden bow at hay-bale targets. One day he rescued a spark of fire from a cold cave — and that spark became Sparky, his best friend. Together they learn that courage means looking after each other, not racing ahead alone.
