The Ancient Five of Landorya

The First Element Friends

In short

Long ago, five friendly peoples learned the world’s first songs: stone, wind, flame, water, and shimmering aether. Together they are called the Ancient Five — the helpers who taught later children of Landorya how magic and care can live side by side.

Why they matter

The Ancient Five remind children that the world is shared — and every element has a friend.

How they look

Stone people with warm brown skin and glowing rock tattoos. Sky people with soft wings. Fire people with ember-bright eyes. Water people with sea-green hair. Star people who seem to glow like night lamps.

Personality

Each people has its own mood: steady earth, playful wind, bold fire, patient water, and dreamy starlight. When they work together, Landorya feels whole.

Story

Before big cities and long wars, the Ancient Five built homes in mountains, cliffs, volcanoes, rivers, and quiet high places. They shared tools, stories, and promises: do not break the world you love. Today their gifts live on in dwarves, winged folk, forge-keepers, river singers, and rare star-listeners — and in the stories the Starwind children still hear by the fire.

What they can do

  • Shaping stone paths and safe caves
  • Riding and weaving soft winds
  • Keeping hearth-fires kind
  • Reading river moods and tides
  • Remembering star-maps of kindness
