Across Landorya the Nomads of Aurora are known as mediators and bridge-builders because their weavers can find the common narrative thread in any foreign court.
Lore
The Nomads believe Landorya itself was spoken into being and that the world is, at root, an ongoing story. In the oldest accounts the first story-weaver was a grieving mother who refused to let her dead son's story end and, by telling it fully, briefly called his spirit back long enough to pass knowledge to his children. During a long drought a council of weavers recited the ancient tale of the Plains' first rains in an unbroken three-day relay, and by tradition the skies opened on the third night. Written transcriptions of Nomadic oral texts lose all potency. The Nomads take that as proof the Flame lives in breath, not ink.
