Coral-Shaping was the material foundation of Ocearan civilization. It built the deep-sea citadels of the Abyssal Corridor. Pressure-hardened coral, bioluminescent crystal, and pearl-inlaid textiles underpinned trade and identity. The Nereids of Nereidum are the main modern heirs, their living reef-cities a direct continuation.
Lore
The grandest act was the Tidal Bridge of Pelagius, a current-suspended coral span across the Cerulean Deep. Every Coral-Shaper in the confederation worked forty tidal cycles in continuous contact during the Age of Magic. None might sleep more than a few hours lest growth run wild. When complete, the Oceara decreed it belonged to the ocean itself, not any one Shaper. Whether the Bridge still stands and grows beneath the Cerulean Deep remains a debate among the Nereids of Nereidum.
