The sanctuaries are distributed across the hidden plateaus and sheltered valley walls of the Celestial Mountains, designed to blend into the rocky terrain. Their architecture makes use of the rare luminescent crystal native to the mountains, giving the halls an ethereal glow by night.

Situated at high altitude, the sanctuaries endure cold conditions year-round, though their placement in sheltered plateaus and valleys moderates the harshest winds. Mist frequently drifts through the open cloisters, reinforcing the atmosphere of sacred isolation.
