It is whispered among the dockworkers of Port Aquamarine that the very first Outer Trading Port was not built by Islander hands alone, that a foreign merchant-prince, desperate to broker peace after his fleet was wrecked on the outer reefs, spent three years laboring alongside the Islanders to raise the first quay stones as penance and pledge.
