The Cloud-Forge is built into the sheltered interior of a large floating island positioned deliberately within reach of Tempest Rift energy channels, with Crystal Aero-Lattice conduits running from outer Storm-Core rigs directly into its forging chambers. The exterior is encrusted with Wind-Spiral arrays that regulate energy intake, while heavy Aero-Bridge connections allow raw ore shipments to arrive from below.

The forge's immediate environment is hot, electrically charged, and loud with the crack of controlled lightning discharge.
