  • Founding Myth: The Ocean Mother Mara-Tide wept the first tears of creation into the primordial void, and where each tear fell, a living current was born; from the convergence of all currents the first Oceara emerged, cradling a pearl of pure elemental water—the seed of Pelagius.
  • Evolution: From nomadic current-riders following deep-sea migrations to a sophisticated confederation of citadel-states; survived the Dark Times by retreating into the deepest trenches and codifying the Cerulean Codex. Their greatest achievement—the crafting of the Orb of Elemental Dominion—occurred during the Age of Magic, an act of collaborative genius with the Pyrakian fire-smiths who forged the artifact's metallic housing.
