The Glacier Spiral Seal
Also known as: the Council Seal, the Spiral Seal
The Glacier Spiral Seal is the ceremonial emblem of the Council of Chiefs — a carved ice-steel stamp bearing the Glacier Spiral, the foundational symbol of Frostborn identity representing the eternal cycle of freezing and thawing, inlaid with a ring of the twenty-four primary characters of the Frostborn runic alphabet. When pressed into the wax-equivalent sealing compound used on Frostborn documents — a mixture of glacial resin and ice-gem powder that hardens permanently at ambient temperature — it produces an impression of exceptional clarity and magical permanence. A document bearing the Glacier Spiral Seal's impression is recognized by all Frostborn clans and by allied peoples as carrying the full authority of the combined Council, making it the highest level of official authentication in the Frostbound Wastes.

History
The Glacier Spiral Seal has authenticated every significant Frostborn agreement for multiple centuries, including the Whitepeak-Windrunner compact governing Vintergate, the trade agreements with the Dwarves of the Ironspine Mountains, and the declaration of Rimehaven as neutral shared territory. The Seal has been repaired once in its history, when a portion of the handle cracked during the particularly severe winter of three generations past — the repair was conducted with the same materials and techniques as the original, and the crack is still faintly visible as a mark of continuity rather than a flaw.
