A long staff carved from a single piece of deep-sea bone-coral, its surface etched with spiraling runes that pulse with a cold, blue-white bioluminescence in the presence of open water. The upper tip cradles a Pressure-Crystal the color of abyssal midnight, locked in place by living coral tendrils that have calcified over centuries of use.

History
The most celebrated Tide-Stave of the Council was wielded by the Tide Council's High Arbiter during the era of peak Ocearan expansion, used to reshape the Ocearan Riverways and forge the magical corridors linking to the Talamhari tunnels. Fragments of its design were preserved in Nereid artistic traditions, and replicas appear in the ceremonial regalia of Nereidum's elder Sonar-Singers. The original stave is believed lost during the collapse of the Abyssal Corridor citadels, though rumors persist of its discovery by Current-Seeker cartographers in the centuries since.
