Spread across a broad, flat-bottomed valley cradled by low hills, Merryvale is the most open of the Halfling settlements, with its burrow homes ringing the valley edges and a spacious central green used for festivals and markets. Rich loam soil on the valley floor supports the most productive farms in the Central Plains.

The valley geography of Merryvale traps warmth and moisture, giving it slightly longer growing seasons than its hillside neighbors and making it the most lush and verdant of the Halfling settlements year-round.
