Mythology & Religion

  • Pantheon: The Order did not worship gods in the conventional sense. They revered the Arcane Mysteries—abstract cosmic principles considered the deepest truths of existence. Chief among these were the Enigma of Creation, the Paradox of Time, the Symphony of the Spheres, the Labyrinth of the Mind, and the Alchemy of Transformation—the Five Great Mysteries later inherited whole-cloth by the Mystarans.
  • Sacred Figures: The Cosmic Sage Aetheris (mythic founder who perceived the first thought of the universe), Lumina the Far-Seer (legendary prophetess whose visions guided the Order through the Dark Times), and Velaris the Weaver (creator of the Great Veil barrier that shielded the Astral Plateau).
  • Rituals: Star-Binding—a ceremony aligning an individual's aetheric field with a specific constellation, granting enhanced insight in that constellation's domain; Veil-Communion—a collective psychic ritual in which the entire Order entered a shared meditative state to seek answers to existential questions; The Celestial Fire Rite—a joint ceremony with the Pyrakians combining aetheric foresight and pyromantic power.
