The Celestial Order uses a sacred vocabulary drawn from their reverence for the cosmos. Their primary tongue is the Common Speech of Landorya, but they preserve an ancient liturgical language
often referred to as Celestial Cant
used in rituals, chants, and the inscriptions found on their temples and observatories. This liturgical language employs a script derived from the patterns of the constellations, with each glyph representing both a sound and a celestial concept.

Key Symbols and Iconography:

• The Star-Arch: An arched gateway flanked by two stars, representing the Gateway of the Celestials and the passage between the mortal and divine realms.
• The Sun Disk of Asterion: A radiant sun disk often depicted atop a staff, the emblem of the chief deity and a sign of wisdom and balance.
• The Crescent Moon of Selene: A silver crescent representing mystery, cycles, and the secrets of the universe.
• The Three-Star Belt of Orion: Three aligned stars symbolizing exploration, navigation, and the quest for distant knowledge.
• Celestial Motifs and Star Charts: Intricate carvings depicting the movement of the stars and the mysteries of the cosmos adorn every surface of the Order's architecture, from monastery walls to observatory domes.

The Order's sacred texts are written in a combination of Celestial Cant and illustrated star charts, and are considered both religious artifacts and scholarly documents.
