Void Moths belongs to magical beast in the Landorya bestiary. Its usual habitat is Void Moths are found primarily along the margins of Entropic energy zones: the borders of the Nichts-Zwischenreich, the perimeter of the sealed Entropic Rift monitored by the Starwatch Citadel, and the storm-swept coastlines of the Shattered Isles where spatial reality remains thin. Void Moths are black-winged insects approximately the size of a human hand, their wings carrying no reflective properties whatsoever: they appear as perfect voids in whatever light surrounds them, visible not by what they show but by what they obscure. The body between the wings is a deep charcoal grey and emits a faint chill, perceptible within half a metre, caused by the continuous Entropic energy absorption that defines their biology. In large numbers they create patches of visual darkness that seem to swallow light actively rather than simply failing to reflect it.

Void Moths demonstrate no individual personality in the conventional sense: as solitary organisms they move in simple attraction patterns toward Entropic energy with no apparent awareness of other factors.
