Geography
The Higher Realms are described not in terms of conventional terrain but as an expanse of pure force and potential, where the five Celestials exist as living embodiments of cosmic law. Mortal theologians picture it as five interlocking domains of incomprehensible scale, each reflecting the nature of its governing force, endless corridors of frozen moments for Time, infinite expanding voids for Space, and so on.
Climate
The very concept of climate does not apply within the Higher Realms, as weather, temperature, and atmosphere are mortal constructs born from the forces the Celestials embody rather than conditions they experience. Accounts from those claimed to have glimpsed beyond the Veil describe a sensation of pure, undifferentiated existence.

History
The Higher Realms predate Landorya itself, existing as the native state of the five Celestials before they turned their will toward creation. After forging the world, the Celestials retreated here to observe rather than intervene, establishing the great distance between creator and creation that defines all of Landorya's theology. Every civilization's eschatology includes some prophecy or fear about what would happen should the boundary between the Higher Realms and the mortal plane ever collapse entirely.
Legend & Lore
It is whispered among the most daring of Landorya's theologians that the Luminous Veil was not always a passive boundary, that in the age before the first mortal drew breath, a sixth presence attempted to cross from the Higher Realms into creation and was unmade entirely, its essence scattered into the void between Space and Time. The catastrophe left a wound in the fabric of the Veil known as the Dimming Seam, said to pulse once every thousand years with a cold, sourceless light visible only to those born at the precise moment of its trembling. Some scholars argue this unnamed presence was not an invader but an errant fragment of Thought itself, the Celestial of cognition having briefly dreamed a will independent of its own. Whatever the truth, the five Celestials have never acknowledged the rumor, and their silence is, to many, the most terrifying confirmation imaginable.
Life & Culture
Within the Higher Realms, existence as mortals understand it, hunger, motion, the passage of hours, holds no meaning; the five Celestials dwell in states of perpetual, unfathomable contemplation, each inhabiting the living expression of the force they embody. The Celestial of Time is said to experience every moment of Landorya's history simultaneously, tasting each second like a chord struck on an instrument of infinite strings, while the Celestial of Space extends awareness across distances that would shatter a mortal mind in an instant. Their sole shared ritual, if it can be called such, is the Concordance, a convergence of all five wills at intervals mortals cannot measure, during which the fundamental laws of Landorya are reaffirmed, subtly adjusted, or allowed to decay by deliberate neglect. Mortal priests who dedicate their lives to interpreting the after-tremors of these Concordances, fluctuations in gravity, sudden reversals of entropy, thoughts that arrive in every mind at once, are known as Resonance Scribes, and their fragmented records form the closest thing Landorya has to a theology handed down directly from its creators.
