The Sanctum occupies a wide basin within the mist-lands, its structures built from Veil-Stone that has accumulated centuries of magical interaction. The oldest buildings form a dense inner core around the secondary ley node; newer construction rings outward in concentric arcs shaped by the node's influence on the local arcane field. Descent routes to the Ley-Convergence originate from the innermost precinct.

The ambient magical field within the Sanctum's boundaries produces mild weather modulation — temperatures are stable year-round, the worst storm energy is deflected by the settlement wards, and the mists that fill the surrounding territory thin slightly within the inner precincts during periods of heightened ley activity, lending those spaces an unusual luminous clarity.
