Morrith accepted the role as a two-year temporary appointment. That was two hundred and twenty-six years ago. She has since overseen the resonance-matching ceremonies of generations of Aetherians, witnessed patterns in constellation-birth affinities that no one else has had the longitudinal data to identify, and developed a theory of aetheric inheritance — the transmission of specific magical aptitudes through affinity-group lines rather than blood — that she has been building from observational records since her one hundred and ninety-third year and intends to formalize when she has enough data. She calculates she needs another forty years.
Daily Life
The Star-Cradle Sanctuary operates on the celestial cycle rather than the solar one.
