She completed her Trial of the Veil at one hundred and nine, a somewhat later age than most, attributed to the fact that she had spent a significant portion of her theoretical study years doing practical fieldwork at Aether-Gate monitoring stations rather than preparing for the psychic examination. Her first posting was as a junior Emissary to the Talamhari tunnel-entry at the base of the Astral Plateau cliffs, a posting she requested because she believed the Talamhari were significantly more complex than the Order's records described. Eighty years later she has held postings at all four allied civilizations, negotiated three amendments to the Celestial Accord's trade provisions, and developed what she considers the Order's most current and accurate intelligence picture of how the four allied civilizations actually work, as distinct from how their official representatives say they work.
