| Earth | Stoneback Tortoises | Burrowers, ley-line maintenance | Imprint on Stone-Shapers; serve as mounts and mobile workshops. |
| Fire | Flame-Moths | Pollinators of Flame-Lilies, light sources | Bond with Flame-Smiths; their ember-trails mark safe paths through magma fields. |
| Water | Siren-Dolphins | Ley-line stabilizers, scouts | Bond with Tide-Weavers; sing in harmony to reinforce oceanic ley-nodes. |
| Air | Gale-Raptors | Aerial predators, message carriers | Bond with Wind-Scribes; used as mounts for Storm-Chase Pilgrimages. |
| Aether | Aether-Sprites | Messengers, minor magical assistants | Bond with Aether-Weavers; can temporarily phase into the Material Plane to deliver messages. |
Lesser Fauna
- Crystal-Mites (Earth) - Tiny, insect-like beings that polish and maintain crystal structures.
- Magma-Salamanders (Fire) - Small, lizard-like creatures that thrive in lava flows and serve as scouts.
- Tide-Jellies (Water) - Bioluminescent jellyfish that light underwater passages and can deliver minor electrical shocks to intruders.
- Zephyr-Finches (Air) - Small, incredibly fast birds that carry short-range messages between Air Elementals.
- Void-Wisps (Aether) - Enigmatic, semi-sentient motes of energy that cluster around Void-Rifts; studied by Aetheric scholars but not fully understood.
Companion Bonds
Elementals form deep, lifelong bonds with their companion fauna through a process called Resonance Imprinting. The companion absorbs a fragment of the Elemental's energy signature, granting it enhanced intelligence, elemental resistance, and the ability to communicate via Resonance Pulses. In return, the companion provides the Elemental with sensory extensions — a bonded Gale-Raptor can serve as the Wind-Scribe's eyes across vast distances, for example.
Dangerous Fauna
- Rift-Crawlers - Mutated creatures that emerge from Void-Rifts; they are unpredictable, resist elemental control, and must be contained by the Equilibrium Guard.
- Seismic Wurms (Earth) - Massive, aggressive burrowers that can destabilize ley-lines if left unchecked.
- Inferno Drakes (Fire) - Wild, dragon-like predators of pure flame; territorial and highly dangerous.
- Maelstrom Leviathans (Water) - Enormous deep-sea predators that generate localized whirlpools.
- Tempest Serpents (Air) - Lightning-charged sky-serpents that inhabit storm systems.
