Introduction

Summary - The Elemental Kingdoms are the oldest, most primal societies of Landorya. Born from the first Elder Race, the Elementals, they are living embodiments of the five fundamental forces of creation: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Aether. Each kingdom is a sentient, self-sustaining realm of crystal, magma, tide, wind, or pure energy that exists both on the Material Plane (as vast underground or sub-aerial domains) and on its own co-existent Elemental Plane.

Type - Composite Confederation of Elemental Realms. Each realm functions as a quasi-autonomous kingdom, yet all answer to the Great Conclave of Elements (the Council of Confluence plus the Primarchs). The Confederation is a non-territorial polity: borders are defined by ley-line flows rather than by landmass, and the kingdoms overlap in the “Deep Earth” - the layered subterranean network that links all five realms.
