Silverbrook Grove occupies the eastern portions of the Eldris Forest where the land slopes gently toward lower terrain and three named streams — the Silver, the Brook, and the Still — converge. The confluence point is the grove's de facto center, surrounded by the herb gardens that Lyriana Wildheart and her community tend. The forest here is slightly less ancient than at Heartwood, with more varied tree species and a richer understory that supports exceptional botanical diversity.

The eastern orientation and river confluence give Silverbrook Grove a consistently moist microclimate warmer than Thornhaven but cooler than the deep interior. Morning mists are common, burning off by mid-morning to reveal a golden light that herb-gardeners prize for the cultivation of sun-sensitive medicinal plants. Rainfall is reliable and evenly distributed, and the grove rarely experiences the extremes of drought or flood that affect regions beyond the Eldris Forest.
