Eldara occupies a broad lowland basin in the east, hemmed by low hills on three sides and open to the ocean on the fourth. The trees are enormous, their trunks three to five metres in diameter, composed of matter that exists simultaneously as wood and crystallised stardust depending on the angle of observation. Fey Gateways, shimmering apertures of spatial energy, occur naturally at certain grove intersections where Aether's spatial lattice overlaps with Terra's matter-binding, creating permanent passages to adjacent planes.

The forest generates its own light, sufficient to read by even on moonless nights, emanating from the bioluminescent Twilight Ivy that covers the lower trunks and the ambient stardust shed by the canopy. Rain in Eldara falls upward from the forest floor before reversing midway and completing its descent, a minor spatial anomaly caused by the concentration of Aetheric energy beneath the root systems. Temperatures remain mild year-round, regulated by Terra's continuous material-law enforcement.

Eldara was shaped by Terra during the Weaving of the World, when the Celestial of Matter molded living flesh and growth into existence. Terra blessed the Sylvan Elves in the Age of Growth through the Avatar Form known as the Amber Gardener, granting them nature-binding magic and stewardship over the forests that still governs their relationship with the land. The Fey Courts established their presence in Eldara during the subsequent era, drawn by the spatial anomalies that permitted passage between planes.

The oldest Sylvan Elf oral traditions describe a night in the Age of Harmony when the Sphere-Forests sang, all the stardust leaves vibrating simultaneously at a frequency audible as a single sustained chord that lasted from dusk to dawn. Scholars of the Celestial Order who have heard this account in its original Elven argue that the event corresponds precisely to the moment Terra completed the biological codex, the final inscription of living law that gave all organisms in Landorya the capacity for self-repair. Whether the forest has ever sung again, none can say with certainty, but Sylvan tradition holds that a second singing would herald the completion of creation itself.

The Sphere-Forests sustain the Sylvan Courts and their associated communities, who navigate Eldara using Twilight Ivy routes and maintain the grove intersections to prevent unsanctioned Gateway formation. Luminous Stags roam freely under absolute protection, their amber-glowing antlers considered living expressions of Terra's creative will. Void Orchids grow at the forest margins nearest the Nichts-Zwischenreich, where Entropic energy bleeds through, and Sylvan stewards tend them carefully, using their Entropic absorption to maintain the forest's interior purity.
