  • Demographics: Approximately 1.5 million at peak; modern Drakonian heirs number ~250 000 across the volcanic highlands of Drakon.
  • Core Values: Strength, honor, endurance through adversity—crystallized in the Ashen Code, which governs conduct in war, trade, and daily life.
  • Education: All young Pyrakians entered the Forge-Schools, where they studied pyromancy, metallurgy, and the history of the Ashen Code. Advanced students were selected for the Inferno Trials, grueling tests of fire-resistance and magical control that determined entry to the ruling Flame-Council. This tradition persists in Drakonian bonding rituals and the curriculum of the Draconic Academy.
