Social Structure & Interaction
- Family Units: Extended clans organized around a shared forge-hearth; each clan bore a Flame-Name denoting their ancestral specialty (e.g., Clan Pyrosteel, Clan Obsidian-Edge).
- Social Hierarchy: Flame-Council (governing body) > Forge-Masters and senior pyromancers > warriors of the Flame Guard > craftsmen and merchants > apprentices and youth.
- Welfare: Ember-Aid—a communal fund that provided for widows, orphans, and those injured in volcanic events or forge accidents. No Pyrakian was left to cool alone.
- Conflict Resolution: Disputes were settled through ritualized Honor-Burns—controlled pyromantic duels judged by the Ashen Tribunal, a tradition that survives in Drakonian honor duels in the Platinum Arena of Bahamut.
