11.6 Childhood & Adolescence
Young Fey — those in the first century of life — experience a prolonged, immersive childhood unlike anything in mortal cultures. Fey children spend their earliest decades in the Nursery Glades, communal pocket-dimensions maintained by each Court-Circle specifically for child-rearing. Here, they learn basic illusion through play, absorb the Twilight Tongue through immersion, and form their first connections with the Weave. By the time their true name begins to crystallize (typically between age 50 and 100), they transition to formal education at a Dream-Academy. The crystallization of a true name is considered the marker of adulthood.
