The Celestials' very existence sustains the magical ecosystem. Without the Resonance Field, ley lines would collapse, magical creatures would perish, and the world's elemental balance would unravel.

24.3 Environmental Policy
The Ecological Resonance Accord — a pact requiring all civilizations to report magical pollution, ley-line damage, and ecosystem anomalies. The Order mediates disputes over shared magical resources. Specific policies:
- Crystal Extraction Quotas — mining limited by annual Resonance Impact Assessments
- Ley-Line Maintenance — periodic resonance re-calibration of major continental ley lines
- Fauna Protection — sacred creatures (Luminous Stags, Time-Turtles) are protected under universal law
24.4 Ecological Challenges
- Resonance Erosion — gradual weakening of the Resonance Field in areas of heavy magical use (particularly near Azarian industrial centres). The Order advocates for stricter magical emission standards.
- Rift Residue — the sealed Entropic Rift continues to leak trace amounts of Void energy, slowly corrupting nearby flora. The Void Orchids that grow at the rift's edge are both a symptom and a partial natural remedy.
- Climate Sensitivity — increased magical activity worldwide is subtly altering weather patterns in the Celestial regions; Aurora Storms are 15% more frequent than a century ago.
