20.1 Cosmology
The Celestials view the universe as a symphony of five tones. Creation was an act of harmonization; destruction is dissonance. The mortal world exists in the space between perfect harmony (the Celestial Realm) and total silence (the Nichts-Zwischenreich). Life is the dynamic tension between these poles.
20.2 The Great Dissonance
The only time the Celestials' harmony was disrupted. A mortal cabal (the Architects of the Rift) extracted raw Celestial energy, creating an Entropic Rift that threatened to unmake reality. The Celestials sealed it by sacrificing a portion of their essence, resulting in the Balancing Edict. The Architects' identities were erased from history as punishment — they exist only as a warning.
20.3 Religious Practice
Worship is contemplative, not dogmatic. Followers meditate on the Celestial sigils, study resonance patterns, and perform the Four Daily Rites (Morning Resonance, Midday Confluence, Evening Reflection, Night Vigil). There is no concept of "sin" — only dissonance (being out of alignment with the Resonance Field) and harmony (being attuned).
20.4 Temples & Sacred Spaces

20.5 Heresies
Any attempt to become a Celestial or to harness undiluted Celestial power is the gravest transgression. The Architects of the Rift remain the cautionary tale. Minor heresies include unauthorized pocket-dimension creation, unsanctioned Time-Weaving, and the persistent folk belief in the Sixth Celestial (see § 25).
