19.1 Hierarchy

| The Five Celestials | Transcendent beings existing outside mortal hierarchies. They interact with the world through resonance, avatars, and oracles — never through direct governance. |
| High Resonant | Leader of the Celestial Order. Currently Seraphiel, a former Aeriel sage who assumed the role 42 years ago. |
| Circle of Five | One senior scholar per Celestial domain. They advise the High Resonant and lead domain-specific research. |
| Senior Monks | Experienced members (15+ years) who lead settlements, manage institutions, or serve as Balance-Warden commanders. |
| Journeyman Scholars | Fully trained members (5-15 years) active in their specialization. |
| Initiates | Students in the Resonance Academy (1-5 years). |
| Oracles | A parallel hierarchy — born with innate Ætheric sensitivity, they hold special status regardless of rank. |
19.2 Social Mobility
Advancement is strictly merit-based and determined by resonance growth — a measurable increase in the ability to perceive and manipulate the Ætheric Net. There are no hereditary privileges. An Initiate who demonstrates exceptional resonance growth may advance faster than peers.
19.3 Conflict Resolution
Disputes within the Order are resolved through Resonance Mediation — both parties enter the Resonance Chamber, where the harmonic field amplifies empathy and suppresses aggression. A senior monk facilitates dialogue. Persistent conflicts are escalated to the Circle of Five.
19.4 Gender & Identity
The Celestials are genderless — they exist beyond biological categories. The Celestial Order follows this principle: members are addressed by their resonance name, and no gender-based distinctions exist in rank, role, or ritual. The Order was among the first institutions in Landorya to formally enshrine gender equality.
