Craftsmanship is highly valued in Eldorian culture. Many Eldorians are skilled woodworkers, weavers, or herbalists. These crafts not only provide for the needs of the community but also produce goods for trade with other regions.

14.2 Trade Goods

As skilled craftsmen, the Eldorians trade in high-quality metalwork, weapons, and magical items. They have trade agreements with the Sylvan Elves, Frostborn, and Drakonians.

14.3 Exports and Imports

Exports: Eldoria is a major exporter of enchanted wood products, herbal remedies, and magical textiles.

Imports: They import metals, gems, and other raw materials not found in their forests.

14.4 Key Crafts

  • Woodcrafting: Eldorians are master woodworkers, able to create everything from sturdy buildings to intricate works of art.
  • Metalworking: Eldorian metalsmiths are renowned for their ability to create weapons and armor of exceptional quality, often enchanted with protective spells.

The Eldorians use the Greenmark as their primary currency
small, enchanted wooden tokens carved from ironbark heartwood and stamped with a runic seal of authenticity. The tokens resist decay and counterfeiting due to their magical binding. For large transactions with other races, Eldorians also accept mithril shards and Azarian gold.

Eldorian economic life is organized through guilds that govern quality, training, and pricing:

14.8 Trade Routes and Markets

The primary trade routes radiating from Oakenhall include the Amber Road south to Ambervale and the Drakonian border, the Frostleaf Trail north to the Frostborn territories, and the Silverrun Waterway west to Dewmere and the coastal ports. The Great Market of Ambervale, held on the first day of each season, draws traders from across Landorya and is one of the most important commercial events in the region. Eldorian merchants are represented by the Merchants' League, which negotiates trade terms and resolves disputes.
