Inter-Regional Dynamics
5.1 Historical Alliances & Conflicts
Alliance with the Celestial Order during the First Ember Accord (5,000 YB) to seal the Fire-Seal protecting the world's core. Conflict with the Fey over the Ashen Glades (the Sylvan-Flame Wars, 3,200 YB). A brief truce with the Nereidum after the Tide-of-Flames treaty (1,800 YB). The War of Celestial Sundering (date uncertain, deep antiquity) shattered alliances among the Elder Races and cost many dragons their lives.
5.2 Diplomatic Relations
Formal embassies in Eldar Forest (Fey) and Nereidum (underwater kingdom). Trade treaties for volcanic glass in exchange for pearls & kelp-silk. A rotating Dragon-Envoy sits on the Celestial Council as a permanent observer. The current Dragon-Envoy, Korathis the Silver-Tongued, is a Flame Wyrm of unusual diplomatic temperament who has served in the post for over three centuries.
5.3 Trade & Economic Contacts
Export of Drake-Forged Steel, Runic Crystals, Ash-Enriched Fertilizer, Obsidian Glassware, and Dragon-Scale Armor. Import of Sylvan Herbs, Aetheric Essences, Nereidic Pearls, and Frostborn Ice-Stone (used in cooling magmatic furnaces).
5.4 Cultural Exchange
Annual Festival of Ember & Tide where dragons perform aerial ballets while Nereids sing beneath the waves; Runic Symposium hosted in Cindervale, inviting scholars from all races. The Accord of the Canopy, a biennial gathering in the Ashen Glades, brings Fey artisans and draconic sculptors together for collaborative art installations that fuse living wood with volcanic glass.
5.5 Tourism & Pilgrimage Routes
Pilgrimage of the First Flame (journey to the Heart-of-Fire volcano, culminating in the Hatching Rite). Dragon-Lore Trail (a network of ancient eyries, each with a stone tablet recounting a dragon's legend). The Path of Thassarion follows the route that the ancient lawgiver dragon took when surveying the empire's borders, passing through all seven eyries. It takes approximately three months on foot and is considered a rite of passage for young Drakonian lawyers before they may practice before the Scales of Justice.
