| The Song of Ember | Creation myth: the first dragons sang fire into the world's molten core, shaping mountains and seas. Recited at every Hatching Rite. |
| The Great Ashfall | Historical epic of the planetary volcanic cataclysm 4,200 years before the present. Tells how the Elder Council united to seal the mantle and prevent extinction. A tale of sacrifice and collective action. |
| The Forging of the First Scale | A myth explaining the origin of dragon scales. Ignathar, exhausted from shaping the mountains, shed a single tear of molten crystal. Where it fell, it hardened into the first dragon scale, and from that scale, all subsequent dragon armor descended. The tale teaches that strength is born from vulnerability. |

Not a myth but a revered piece of living history, often recited at funerals. |

| Tale | Summary |
|---|---|
| The Wyrm Who Drank the Sea | A comic folk tale about a gluttonous young Flame Wyrm who tried to drink the ocean to prove his superiority over the Nereids, only to develop a terrible stomachache and an unexpected taste for salted fish. Told to children to teach humility. |
